Our mom & dad McDaniel took the whole family to Big Lake in Louisiana for a marsh fishing trip. We had an awesome time and all caught our limit of red fish within 45 minutes (I think Robby and I were the last group to limit out!). It was so much fun! Robby kept telling me how much of a fight the red fish would put up, but I had no idea how strong they are. You could see a wake behind the big ones... We did catch a few other types of fish too. A few black drum, flounder, and even a lady fish (bait). We left Houston after work on Friday and stayed the night in Lake Charles. Saturday morning we woke up and met in the lobby of the hotel around 4:45AM... we will do anything for those fish! We paired up with our guides and hit the water. The weather was perfect. It started to get a little warm around noon time, but the clouds came in and covered us a little. Here are a few pictures

After the fishing trip Robby headed up to Pappa & Granny's house to stay a few nights with them. He had a work function back in Lake Charles, so he took advantage and was able to spend some quality time with them. Thanks mom & dad McD for the awesome trip!! Also, thank you so much Jaime & Maria for taking care of the pups. We owe y'all big time!
