Another neighbor & the symphony

A few catch ups...

Jaime & Maria closed on their first place! Yay:) It is beautiful and they have already been busy painting and decorating. It is only about 10 minutes from our house:)

They are standing in their front yard, but the house behind them backs up to a huge lake. They have ducks walking/sitting all over the neighborhood, which is SO much fun to see. The first time we checked out the new place I brought a loaf of Sunbeam with me... Maria and I were the life of the party!

Robby and I both have some pretty musically talented relatives, but we unfortunately do not quite display that same level of skill. I have heard some amazing things about Robby and the trumpet when he was in the school band. Next time you are with him and a trumpet, get him to play La Bamba:) Anyways, back to the picture, our friend Lisa is very musically talented. She plays the piano and is very good! She asked how interested we were in the Symphony... I hated to say that we weren't, because neither of us had ever been. I guess it was safe to say that it wasn't on our must do list anytime soon. She told us about the Miller Outdoor Theater and had us convinced to go. We packed a cooler, blanket, picked up some sandwiches and staked our spot on the lawn in preparation for the show. It was such an informal relaxing atmosphere which is right up our alley. Robby's favorite part was the warm-up before the show and during intermission. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for upcoming events!
