Easter Bunnies!

Every holiday is better with Mason.  He just brings such joy and clarity!  I'm a little late on this post and have SO many other things I need to blog about, but life is just way more fun when I'm not behind a computer uploading pictures.  So, I think most of my blogging will now be taking place when I have my insomnia and both of my handsome boys are dreaming sweet dreams:)

Here is a quick recap with a few pictures and videos.

We started our Easter weekend at Brookwood with Nana & PawPaw.  The Easter bunny was there and invited Mason to have breakfast with him!  The camera died after the 1st picture I took, so we all whipped out our i-cameras...

Diana's side of the family came in town again this year!  It's so fun to have them all here together.  There is never a dull moment!  Matthew played photographer and got some great pictures of everyone.

On Easter day, after a quick egg hunt in the front yard, we went to NeeNee's house and spent the day with my dad & Cindy.  She has a ton of little ceramics everywhere, so I never get a chance to take pictures over there.  I'm busy following around Mr. Grubby Mitts;)

Afterwards, we had all of the McDaniel 'kids' over for pizza and paque paque.

Not many people can say their Pappa has rung the closing bell on the NYSE!  Doesn't he look so handsome up there:)  I'm so proud to be able to share this success with everyone! 

Mason's 1st Birthday Party (Dr. Seuss)

Yesterday was Mason's 1st Birthday party!  We celebrated Dr Seuss style which I figured was appropriate since they share they same b-day.  We kept the guest list small, but since we both have good sized families and they all wanted to celebrate with our ONE year old, it turned out to be a good crowd.  Our little one is so lucky to be so loved.  Below are some pictures Uncle Matthew took for us.  Thank you for capturing so many awesome shots from the party!

Happy Birthday to the happiest little boy I know!  

It's hard to imagine that I have only been your mother for a year when I don't remember my life without you in it. In the same breath, HOW ARE YOU ALREADY ONE?!

Exactly a year ago to the minute I got to lay my eyes on the sweetest sight, and thanks to your daddy I have been with you all day everyday.  You have filled our lives with joy and purpose.  We don't know how we got so lucky to be your parents, but we thank God for it everyday.

Your daddy and I are so unbelievably proud of you!
