This Christmas was hands down the best year ever. We have had so much fun looking/touching every Christmas tree, ornament, and 'ahhh'ing at all of the pretty lights over the past month. Here is a recap of our Christmas events...
Dad and Cindy invited us to dinner and to watch the Fulshear Festival of Lights with them. Where else do you get to see Santa and his reinSTEER follow up the town trash truck? It was pretty funny. Dad later told me the trash truck makes a debut in all of the town events, lol. I can't wait to see Mason running around the Christmas tree with Carson next year.
Our McDaniel Family Christmas was at Taste of Texas this year!
After dinner we headed back to the McDaniel 'rents to open gifts.
Last Christmas as a family of two!
The next morning we headed to P^2 to spend a few days with Poppa & Granny.
Heather and Emmie came to visit. Mason couldn't take his eyes off his big cousin. He wanted to do everything she did.
Having fun crawling over Uncle Matthew.
Napping in PawPaw's arms.
We kissed Poppa & Granny good bye Christmas Eve morning and made our way to Uncle Tommy & Nickie's House. Nana's entire side of the family gets together and it's pure madness. People and presents are everywhere. It's so much fun! I love the chaos:)
After lunch on Christmas Eve, we made our way back to the house so we could be home for Santa the next morning & visit Grandpa & Mamo.
Santa & the reindeer's snacks
I woke Robby up on Christmas morning and told him Santa came even though I forgot to leave cookies and veggies for Santa and his reindeer. Robby told me to look behind the tree.
Mom was a slacker and headed to bed early, but dad was a hero and made Santa and his reindeer lots of yummy snacks (cookies, carrots, & pizza rolls) before he came to bed.
How did I find such a wonderful man?
Once we finished our family Christmas we made our way to Grandpa & Mamo's house. We got to spend some good time with Uncle Jeff who was in town for a week.
"Mom, I'm trying to talk to my Grandpa & Dad!" - Mason
Josh and Makenzie were in San Antonio for the holidays, so we headed up Monday afternoon for a long lunch. I wish I could be with them more often...
We had such a wonderful 1st Christmas with our little man. We are so blessed to have so many people love him and us. I hope your holidays were just a bright.
