I took Little to his 9 month well baby check this morning.
The last month has been a big one for Mason.-He has gotten some serious muscle tone and is wonderfully busy.
-He explores everything and gets so excited doing it (his eyes get wide and his breathing excited).
-He loves to initiate peek-a-boo with me in the mornings. He'll grab his blanket and throw it over his face until I say, "Where's the baby?"
-He is so giggly and happy, but he does protest getting his sleeper on every night. He is fine until we slip his arms in the armholes, then it's OVER! He just wants to eat and go to bed!
-Mason's favorite food right now is definitely yogurt. He can't get enough!
-He is wearing 12-18 month clothing.
-His sensitive cheeks are enjoying the cooler weather:)
- you weight 23lbs 3 oz (90%)
- you are 31" long (95%)
"Can I get a recount?"
We got lots of cuddle time in with Grandma Bo before she left.
And then we took her to the airport:( I am so grateful for my momma. Every time we are together I realize how much I NEED her. It was hard to leave each other, but hopefully we will be visiting them on some beautiful island in the near future;)
"Why are we at the airport, where is my Grandma going?" Mason
Nana took Mason on hist first 4 wheeler ride.
PawPaw tells me they didn't even shift out of park, but I'm not sure I am buying it:)
"Mom, I will even wear my seatbelt, just let me OUT OF MY CAR SEAT!" Mason (and his poor red cheeks at a stop on the way home from LA)
You are such a good eater! Everyday is different, but for the most part you will give anything a shot It's not complete without an initial look of detest though;)
"I'm practicing for you Uncle Matthew!"
Last night we drove to Lake Charles for Robby's company Christmas party. I was so proud of my baby. He didn't let out as much of a peep and was happy in anyone's arms. He was VERY flexible with the late hours even though he has come to love his schedule*.
After a ton of photos, this is the best we got, lol!
*Speaking of schedules, I never wanted to be a mom that had a schedule for their kid. I wanted to be one of those 'it's his nap time, but he will sleep anywhere if he's tired enough' moms. And, then I became a mother. Mason does SO well when he's in his routine (as I've come to learn 99% of babies do. Here is our usual day at 9 months (now that I have typed/said it, I am sure he will change it tomorrow;)
