Here is a quick baby update!
We had our 17 week check up yesterday with Dr. L. She checked baby's heartbeat, which was strong and in the 150s. She also measured my belly (18 cm). It's so strange to lay down and feel this huge ball of baby in my belly. I love it! She was very happy with both the heartbeat and the fundal height, which was so reassuring to hear. Dr. L laughed and told me how I am growing right out of my pants :) I told her I know and thought to myself how different my wardrobe is going to look VERY soon. It's a shame yoga pants are not acceptable to wear to work :)
Any tips on where to get some reasonably priced maternity pants, mainly for work? I think most of my shirts will work for awhile longer.
We will go back in 3 weeks for the 20 week check up and anatomy scan!
I can't believe we are already 17 weeks into this pregnancy. We have been loving every second of it!
Ok, two questions for you... who is your Dr.? I have a Dr. L too! And are you not finding out the sex {at 17 weeks, I am assuming she would tell you already, am I wrong}?
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have had several friends recommend the Noppies maternity pants, but they are $$$$! If you can find some on ebay maybe? If not, I hear the Gap has reasonably priced maternity clothes and a few resale shops in Houston you might check out {not sure if you would go that route}:
