Illinois comes to Texas

Last weekend my brother and sis-in-law flew in from DC, and ALL of my aunts and uncles from my dad's side drove in from Illinois! Back in February my Aunt Judy came up with a plan for all of my dad's siblings to make the long drive down. What's better than a road trip with all of your brothers and sisters? They all agreed and headed to Texas.

They made it to Texas early Sunday evening. We spent most of our days at Dad and Cindy's house just catching up, relaxing, and shooting a few rounds of pool. Wednesday we spent the day at Bayou Bend and ended up at the Galleria for lunch and shopping. The past few days have been so much fun. I love getting to see my dad with all of his siblings. Here are some shots from their visit.

Thank y'all so much for making your way down (from DC and Illinois). It was so special to have everyone here! Drive home safely and, Aunt Judy, I hope you get to try Chick-Fil-A on the way home! Love you so much.
