Halloween & other things

Life has been a blur lately, which I guess is fairly common with an ALMOST 8 month old.  Mason has been busy doing big boy things and continues to make me want to find a way to freeze time.  Since I haven't been doing a great job blogging I decided to share a few phone pictures to fill in the some of the blanks.
Oh, and I probably won't get back to my 'regular' blogging for awhile.  My mom is HERE!  I have been waiting for this time with her for what feels like forever and now that she is here I am trying to do nothing, but enjoy her time.  I wish she was closer... soon, I hope.

(Some of these captions are spoken by my kid... humor me.)

"My Nana, Grandma, & Ma took me Halloween costume shopping."

The Hulk?

A monkey with a banana on it's head?

T-Rex?

These pictures make me laugh and feel sorry for Mason, lol.  Mason's going to be a monster, not pictured, I don't want to ruin the surprise:)  Stay tuned for more pictures after Halloween!

"When do we get to fill my bucket up?"

It has been amazing to see my mom get to know her grandson.  I told her to get lots of rest before she came to visit, but so far she hasn't missed a beat with her boy.

Reading one of my faves to baby.  'pat the bunny'

A few nights, once we put baby down, we have taken advantage of having her here and hit the town;)

One of Mason's favorite things: being nosey in his Nana's arms!
At Brookwood for Nana's Birthday.

Robby went hunting last weekend.  (Awesome pictures to come!)  So we spent some of the weekend gardening; Mason supervised of course.

A few weeks ago we joined adorable Briggston and his momma & daddy at the Renaissance Festival.  It was VERY different from how I remember it as a kid, but entertaining for sure!

"Holy cow, ma! Where am I and what are these people wearing!?" -Briggs

Ren Fest hats!

A few days ago Granny came to town!  Mason was happy to show off his new skills for her.
