Robby has been working really hard over the past few months on our little boy's room. He started off by painting the room (Nightfall by Freshaire). Then sanded and painted (white) an old dresser and mirror from my childhood days along with 2 hand-me-down bookcases. I found some curtains, a few frames, and we hung some paper lanterns and that's about it. I still need a lamp and my momma to help me cover the puppy beds that I got for our 1st and 2nd babies. I hope our son enjoys his room as much as we do! If not, we can change it when he gets here :)
From the doorway. I'm not sure why this picture turned out so yellow looking, but it's not a true color representation of anything.
Puff rocker and dresser. Haribo has already claimed her bed between the two. I knew Miss Nosey would love it there:)
Toy chest and Maple camped out on the other side.
Bookcases and crib.

That's all we have for now. I love going in there and just sitting/napping or rearranging things for the millionth time. Only 5 1/2 (ISH) more weeks until baby gets to see it!
I love it!! Soo very calming and doesn't scream boy. How cute are the pups in their special places?!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lisa! It's exactly what I had in mind for him (once I made my mind up!). I can't wait for you to see it in person.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE IT STEPH. it all came together so nicely starting with a great paint color. I really like the pop of color with the globe lights. Of course the girls have their beds in the room too... It's important to include the big sis's! :)
ReplyDeleteI love how it turned out Steph! So tranquil and inviting. My favorite part is the quote above the crib- what a treasure! Your little man is going to really enjoy the room and feel the love mommy and daddy put into it right away!
