Last Friday Robby and I flew to Illinois to spend a few days with my Grandma and Grandpa on the farm and then hang out with all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and 2nd cousins. Every other summer my Grandma and Grandpa plan a family reunion. Usually it takes place at Lake Shelbyville (The Lake), but there was an accident with the fire sprinklers, and it had to be relocated at the last minute. My Aunt Carol recommended Shallowbrook. It was perfect. You can imagine how difficult it would be to find a place that can hold about 40 people and keep them entertained for 4 days. Shallowbrook has 10 bedrooms, a huge living room, the biggest dinner table you have ever seen, a pool, hot tub, tennis/basketball courts, volleyball, a pool table, a foosball table, and much more. The reunion started Monday afternoon and ends Thursday. Robby and I had to leave a day early for work but were so happy we could spend some time with the fam!
