Weekend O Fun

My friend Jimbo got married on Friday. The wedding was downtown in the Crystal Ballroom. It, of course, was beautiful. The reception was so elegant and fancy. Amanda and I were in awe of every detail. The weather was nice and cool that evening, so we enjoyed the amazing views from the balcony. Here are a few pictures from the night. I am a bad guest... I didn't get ONE picture of the bride & groom. :/

The girls got three new toys this weekend. Stephanie thought they were running out of good toys to play with, so we took a trip to Petco. The girls came with us so that they could pick out the toys. We found the three toys and then took a tour around the store. Maple found the glass case with the parakeets in it. The hunting dog in her took over. She pointed and then started her stalk. I had her on the leash, and I stopped her when she was about 2 feet away. I thought she was just going to watch the birds, so I gave her a little slack. Next thing I know, she charges teeth first into the case. She whacked the glass and all of the birds went flying. The whole case shook, but it didn't fall over. We paid for the toys and got out of there before anything else could happen. The toys were a hit as you can see...

We went to the best snow cone stand ever this weekend....twice. It's called Bahama Mama's. We tried kiwi, pink lemonade, lemon, and beach bum (citrus punch and margarita mixed). Robby found out that they use the Swan SI-100E machine to make that delicious fluffy snow. Now he wants to start his own stand. If the gas prices don't start to go up, we may start one in the garage.
